Lotus of Devotion

Dozens of women in pale pink and white spiral inward from a deep rose ground, their bodies forming the petals of a cosmic lotus whose glowing golden heart radiates warmth across the entire picture plane. This is devotion made visible — not the solitary kind, but the communal surrender of many souls drawn toward the same luminous centre. One of Puli Vijaya Kishore's most harmoniously balanced compositions, its palette moving seamlessly from crimson to gold.
